yes to the guy above, but i do think that microsoft is working on a phone version, only it is easier to make the music player first.
to me, a good move by microsoft, iPhone 3G S is so tempting since i'm avoiding apple. 😀

You can't say "last decade" when the current decade isn't over with. Unless there was a commercially successful mp3 player in the 90s I didn't hear about?

I know I'm getting a ZuneHD. Currently have an 80-gig Zune which I mainly use with an old CD stereo system since my 2-yr-old son killed the CD changer mechanism, trying to play a plastic coaster in it :).

I just wonder if MS doesn't offer a phone version, whether a 3rd party could make a 3G attachment for it.

If not, then another suggestion is to include the MSN direct features (realtime traffic, weather, stock, news headlines, etc updates) on it for those times a WiFi connection is unavailable, since it will access HD radio anyway.

@ IH8U
I totally agree. It's been 3 years since the Zune has come out and they have yet to include it in a software update. I love my Shure SE110's but they're a little weak when it comes to bass. Having an equalizer would fix that problem quite nicely... sigh.
