these opinions are mine, all mine; HP might not want them anyway... :)
feel free to post, OR email to raj in cup.hp.com but NOT BOTH...

Perhaps my deja vu detector is twigging early, but haven't you posted
this same question about four times now?

BTW, how did you end-up needing 612 firmware? Did you toast your
camera somehow?

Yas, I posted several times now, but nobody helped me jet.
Mine camer display just went in RGB mode.I took it for service, but they
coudn't help me, they said firmware problem, and they can't get firmware from
HP support.
So Iwas hoping that someone on this forum has same camer,so he can send me
firmware, or help me in any way.

If, as implied by there being no firmware updates on the website, HP
didn't ship firmware for the 612, it is rather unlikely that anyone
out there would have it to send your way - no matter how many times
you repeat the post :)

Also, the likelihood of 612 firmware being released in the future is
rather slim since the camera is discontinued. You might try
contacting HP Support, but again since the camera is discontinued it
might not go very far. If you haven't already come across it in your
perusal of www.hp.com, this link:

might help.

However, at this point it could well be the "best" thing to do is to
simply replace the camera. Either with another 612 via something like
eBay, or a newer model with equal or beter specs. Here is a link
showing the current models of HP digital cameras:
