reseating my cpu, what do i use to wipe?

what do i use to wipe my processor and heatsink so i can install it again,
and also when i re apply the thermal i got with my enermax t40 blacktwister,

should i spread it around like i did before
or just place a blop?

i always use a bead of thermal paste in the center especially if that cooler has good clamping power. if it is really loose then you could spread.

to clean the CPU you will want some isopropyl alcohol that is 95% or higher then just use a lint free cloth , microfiber anything without lint

right okay then its just because im getting quite high temperatures on arma 3 like 70-90 degrees and my heatsink can slide from left to right if you push it, and is a bit loose but i tried tightening it up but still no, but ill try again,
or its my onboard graphics making my cpu hot.

but at idle its 30-40 ddegrees
