reset or bypass win/logon

Hello community! my name is Lee. I was hoping that maybe someone would be able to direct meon how to reset or bypass a logon password on a hard disk that was originally in a labtop that contained vista and is now homeless. I put the hard disk into another labtop which contains windows 7 and it will boot all the way up and all but I am not able to get on the administrator account because I have lost the password. With that being said, I am not able to go online as well because some of the services will not start under the second account which is a limited account. UAC IS A KILLER!!! I Tryed various programs to no avail for examplethe ol' trusted cain n abel and programs as such but there is an error stating that please reboot and find a proper loop. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
