Question Resident Evil 5 - Will not play

Hello, I read a previous post on this site and his post was closed due to the game being pirated. I’m having the exact same issue with him and my copy of the game is legit I bought it from steam today and can provide evidence that it’s been purchased if that’s an issue.

However, I cannot seem to get this game working the error that comes up when I start the directX 9 version of resident evil 5 is:

SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Resident Evil 5\nativePC_MT\system\shader.arc 183

I’ve tried so hard to get this game working but there’s no help anywhere can someone help.

Also this GFWL stuff confuses me and I can’t get that working either apparently there is network error.
