Question Resistor/Capacitor broke off, anyone knows if it matters?

So, I had some issues with installing the GPU in the case, and the GPU bottom (those metals things at the bottom) ended up scratching part of the motherboard. From what I can tell, there's a bunch of similar components all the way up, so I'd think there's redundancy, so I guess it's not that important. Here is a picture:

PC boots fine into bios, fans work, stuff are recognized, mouse and keyboard also works, but I haven't really done much beyond that.

Motherboard is: MSI B650 Gaming Plus Wifi

It's located here, and on them, it is written K72 then vertically smaller K2 (the 2 has an underline), as you can see in the above image too:

Should I get a new motherboard?

Edited: more image hosts, and better image.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Looking at the picture you've shared, that looks like the isolation area where the audio chip is located, effectively the sound card's section of the motherboard. You might want to test the audio on the system since you state that the system boots fine alongside other operations.

If you're yet in possession of the SMD that was taken off the board, you might want to find a reputable repair shop and see if they can solder it back on.

Looks like they belong to sound section, as analog filters sou you might have some problems with sound quality but that you can't find until OS is installed .

For clarification, it's this section of the motherboard and on them, it is written K72 then vertically smaller K2 (the 2 has an underline):

I could try and see how the sound is, thanks.

Unfortunately, the whole thing I think kinda got ripped into pieces in the process, so I don't have the part anymore, I managed to find its remains I think, but yeah, it's in pieces.

Update: sound appears to be working fine...

Edit: I mean, it's hard to like do a complete benchmark on sound, so I can't tell if some random frequency or smth isn't working, but like I can hear stuff fine.

Thats a transistor, you're probably missing some audio filtering or some extra feature, but if its stable and running, you're probably fine, but check everything that you normally use and do out to be sure. Your warranty is voided on that board due to physical damage now though, so your only option is to buy a replacement if it dies. You could replace the transistor when you get a chance, although it looks like you'll have to run a small bodge wire or a super fat solder blob since it removed a trace on one of the pads.
