Hello all,
Typing this from my phone.
Here's what happened...
I had updated to Windows10 a couple weeks ago. Everything was running smoothly until my most recent NVidia gfx driver update. It seemed to stall at 99% completion and then I lost the sound to my computer.
After numerous attempts to fix my sound I decided to just restore my computer and wipe it clean. Big mistake.
Again upon 99% completion of the restore process my computer crashed and then entered an infinite loop and booting and loading to a screen that would say "innaccessable boot driver".

This seems to be a common problem with windows10 and people who restored or wiped their computer, they all got the same error message I did. Except the fixes that have worked for them aren't working for me.
I have even purchased a fresh copy of windows 8 and a new SSD in attempt to remedy this but to no avail. Even after removing my other SSD's and keeping only the new one in, it now loads to a screen that says "reboot and select proper boot device, or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key".

I have tried messing around in the bios but nothing I do seems to work.
I would be so appreciative of anyone willing to help me work through this.

I have a MSI g45 z87 gaming mobo
Gtx780
Kingston ssd

Hoping this isn't more serious than I originally thought... thanks!

Solution
Check your bios setting for the boot device and look at the name, make sure that it is *not* the UEFI storage device choice. You need to use the legacy device name, which will be like SSD or the name of the SSD not the UEFI SSD.
Do you really want to install Windows 8 again?

You can download a Windows 10 disk image HERE and make either an installer DVD or USB. Then simply do a clean install of 10 with only one SSD attached and no HDDs. You do not need a key as Microsoft has your key stored for 10.

Well I already purchased windows 8 since I lost my old disk and don't have a seperate computer to download anything to usb or cd.
I'm trying to do an install of windows 8 from a cd onto a brand new SSD. It is also the only SSD currently hooked up.

I've tried unplugging my power and draining it all by pressing the on button, that didn't help.
I've tried setting my disk drive and the SSD as the first priority in my boot, but that didn't help either.
I've tried resetting to standard settings, doesn't help.
I've spent time just messing around with it and I get no where.

Thanks for the tip, I have tried that before. When I use the sata1 Kingston device I get the message "reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key"
