Hello,

I am having some issues with Windows and resuming from sleep.
I have an overclock of 4.2 GHz and everything works great, but after I resume windows from sleep, the clock drops to normal Turbo Boost Ratios ranging from 3.4 to 3.8. Naturally after a restart the clock goes back to 4.2 as if nothing ever happened. Any ideas as to what this might be? Thanks for any input.

Note: I have tried Disabling various power functions in the BIOS such as EIST, C1E, etc.

Specs:

Gigabye Z77X-UD5H
i7-2600K @ 4.2GHz
G.SKILL Ripjaws DDR3 2133 16GB
Sapphire 6950 2gb Dirt 3 Edition
Creative X-Fi Titanium
Crucial m4 128GB Rev.000F
600 GB Velociraptor
3 x Other Storage HDDs
Thermaltake Toughpower 850W

I had this issue with a software overclock with my AMD x2 6000+, put the computer to sleep, the clocks would be reset or I would always get BSOD's. Got a new board and CPU, then my Phenom II X4 940 did that when OC to 3.8ghz+ with bios on the DFI LanParty DK M2RS 790fx. How I fix that was to do a Bios update, then I could get 4ghz and use the sleep function with out a problem. Not sure if this applies for your board and i7, but would hurt to try it.
