Hi. A friend is using Outlook Express for his e-mails. Someone
incorrectly entered his e-mail address into it when he bought the PC.
Win xp home, sp2, pentium III, plenty of memory. I can't seem to find
any correct place to change it to the right one. He's using Outlook
Express 2000. Since I personnaly use OE 2003 so the windows aren't the
same from one version to the other. Some possibilities are missing in his.
Can someone tell me how he could do this ?
Thanks.

Good Morning. You could just go to where you manage identities. And add a
new identity. Create one with all the correct info. Then switch to that
identity. Go back to manage identities. Make the one you just created the
main identity. Then delete the old one that was configured incorrectly. :)

Hope this help ya!

Sounds more like he is using MS Outlook 2000.

NOTE: At the bottom of the drop down list of MS Outlook 2002, (when
selecting any of the menu-bar options), there are two small down-arrows.
These appear when some of the options in the drop-down list have been hidden
due to lack of use. Clicking on the small down-arrows at the bottom of the
list causes the entire list of options to become visible.

Outlook 2002 (should be similar to Outlook 2000).

| Tools | E-mail Accounts (or accounts) |
under 'Email' section, select:

"view or change existing e-mail accounts"

on next window, select the e-mail account to change, the select the "change"
button.

MS Outlook Express 6 is icluded with Windows XP, not Outlook 2000. Outlook
2000 is included with Microsoft's Office 2000 SBA Suite

(MS Outlook 2000, MS Word 2000, MS Excel 2000 and MS PowerPoint 2000).

Cordially,

There is no product called "Outlook Express 2000," nor is there a
product called "OE 2003." Are you perhaps asking about "Outlook,"
rather than "Outlook Express"?

If so, go to Tools | Accounts, click on the particular E-mail
account, and choose Change. Change it there.

In Outlook Express, it is Tools-Accounts-Properties (on the Mail tab)
That is for OE6, which he must have if using XP.
It is the same in every version of OE I have ever used.
I have never heard of OE 2000 or OE 2003.
What does it say in Help-About on both you versions?
