Gene, Grossi is not a reverend. He is just some fundie loose cannon
that thinks he is doing the will of God by his rambling based upon a
fundamentalist's view of Christianity. Either that or some former
fundie who is doing such for revenge.

I subscribe to several newsgroups and he's spammed every one of them.
I'd guess he's done it to as many as he could find.

I don't see how that applies here. That verse concerns doing good works not
out of a desire to do good, but for the purpose of receiving praise from
others. Grossi isn't posting about how he is feeding the homeless, helping
the poor, etc.
