Question RGB Fan

I have Chieftec RGB Fan Pack (3 fans and chieftec fan control hub), so my question is, can i buy fan from another manufacturer (NZXT for example) and connect it to my chieftec control hub?

Recommend to download and read the manual carefully. Keep in mind, you may have to buy the + 5V LED addressable RGB fans with 6-pin(?) whatever brand you will buy, because the fan connectors are the 6-pin, I don't know you can use the 3-pin fan or not. Also the 3x Chieftec RGB Fans draw 1.95Amp already, and total fans can't draw more than 2.5Amp, otherwise you will kill the controller.
