Question RGB header compatibility

Hi guys, Could anyone please tell me if the rgb led strip ( link below ) can be connected to the 12V rgb header on the Giabyte B360 Aorus motherboard ? And is connecting it as simple as just plugging in the 4 pin connector to the motherboard? Thanks in advance

1st, Giabyte B360 Aorus or the Giabyte B360 Aorus gaming 3? If it it the gaming 3, check the manual page 15, you can see the MB RGB header can only support up to 2m strip.

2nd, now back to the site you posted, if the product comes with the RGB controller, then you can use the controller instead of the MB RGB header for the strip, because the strip is 5m. But if the product does not come with RGB controller, you can't use that 5m strip.

Most of RGB header can support up to 2m LED strip.

Call the seller to make sure the product has the RGB controller or not. If it does not have one, buy other RGB strip, you can buy few of 2m them if you want to more.

That 1m one is fine, because it is the USB type.

If you mean for the 5m one, I don't know, but you may not just cut the extra.

I can connect the 1 metre one directly to the rgb header, right ?

To USB port, not the rgb header. Or maybe the RGB header, because it depends on the connection, I can't see it.

You can't connect to the RGB header on the MB, because the strip has the male RGB connector.

Cant I connect something like this ( link below ) to the mobo using a 1-3 rgb splitter cable and cutting off the extra leds i dont need ?

If you have to use the RGB strip with RGB header on the MB, buy something else. Otherwise don't use the RGB header on MB with those RGB strip you posted.
