[SOLVED] RGB not working with fans

Hello,

So I am building a computer with an older motherboard so it doesn't have the RGB built in. I have the Thermaltake V200 case which comes with the controller below. I also bought these Deepcool RGB fans https://www.amazon.com/DEEPCOOL-RF1...epcool+5+in+1&qid=1564437723&s=gateway&sr=8-1 . I daisy chained the RGB cable for the 3 fans as it said and then plugged them into the 12V RGB header below and plugged that into the 12V RGB on the case controller. The fans work but not the RGB. I haven't booted all the way but should they come on as soon as it boots or do they need to install drivers? Or is it just hooked up wrong?

What motherboard do you have? Looks like it needs to connect to a 12V RGB header on the motherboard.

I have a p8p67 WS Revolution. Figured the case controller would control them as well since it has the 12v header

Ok, thats what I was wondering. If my case controller is compatible with Mystic light and all those other softwares do you think I just need to download one of those to control those fans?

No, not without a physical connection to the motherboard. Software won't do anything without a way to communicate with the controller.
