I have a Asrock Z590 OC Formula motherboard and i suspect that this cooler will overhang the memorys. I have G.SKILL Trident Z Royal Series (Intel XMP) DDR4 RAM 32GB (2x16GB) 4000MT/s CL18-22-22-42 1.40V Desktop Computer Memory UDIMM - Silver (F4-4000C18D-32GTRS). And as they look good i do not want the Noctua to overhang.

Here is a photo that i found on the web with a bigger Noctua NH-D15 Air cooler. Width (with fan) 150 mm. It overhangs the memory's huge. There is two smaller models. Noctua NH-D12L Chromax Black that has a width of 125mm.

Noctua NH-D12L Chromax Black. The right cooler seems a little smaller then the left. Does anyone have one and can measure the left and right in mm?

There is a smaller model to The NH-D9L chromax.black is is an all-black version of Noctua’s award-winning NH-D9L compact dual tower CPU cooler that has been designed to provide excellent quiet cooling performance at a height of only 110mm. Its comparably low profile (15mm lower than classic 9cm tower coolers such as the NH-U9S) doesn't only guarantee full 3U compliance but also makes the NH-D9L ideal for compact HTPC and Small Form Factor cases that have airflow paths parallel to the mainboard. Thanks to its 95x95mm footprint, the NH-D9L clears the RAM and PCIe slots on all Intel based and most AMD based ITX mainboards. The included NF-A9 premium fan supports automatic speed control via PWM for outstanding quietness of operation and a second, optional NF-A9 fan can be added for further improved performance in dual fan mode. Topped off with the trusted, pro-grade SecuFirm2™ multi-socket mounting system, Noctua’s proven NT-H1 thermal compound and full 6 years manufacturer’s warranty, the NH-D9L forms a highly compact premium package for space-restricted applications.

Now i have a Cooler master 92mm and a 120mm fan to the left. 115mm or 120mm in total with the 120mm fan and then the memorys is visable, it is almost so it overhangs.

I sent them an email.

Yes it seems to be 65.50mm to the left from the processor base and 47.50 from the processor base to the right next to the memorys? It also seems to be 113mm wide and not 125 as stated.
It sounds like you are confusing the front to back 113mm depth with the 125mm side to side width. In which direction are you planning on mounting this cooler? If you are planning on mounting the cooler with the thinner fin section parallel to the memory dimms as shown in the black and white picture above, then the distance from the center of the cpu socket to the front edge of the cooler would be the 47.50mm shown in the diagram. It would help if you could tell us the distance from the center of the cpu socket where the locking pin is to the first dimm.

I got the chassi and the Noctua cooler 1h ago, it was 113mm wide from both towers ends. The chassi was the biggest that i ever seen, the noctua cooler seems to fit by eyes sight. I have not tried to attach it yet. I guess that the Noctua cooling paste that comes with is good? The ARCTIC MX-6. should be the best?

It does not seems to be copper at the Noctua bottom.

The Noctua paste is good...the differences among the better pastes are minimal, within margin of error. Noctua mounting system is excellent, you shouldn't have any problem assuming your case is wide enough and you have no RAM clearance issues.

I applied the Noctua paste 8 years ago and temps are as good now as ever. Have had no reason to replace it.

I have a old Dell T3500 workstation with a Intel Xeon 6 core E5645 2.40GHz and the copper cooler do not have any fan from the factory. There are 2 120mm heavy industri fans in the front as the cooler are at the bottom, the idle temp seems to be around 21-30, i suspect it is at least 10 years old paste there. It has 24gb of memory and it can run with 48gb to with a special memory kind.

It is not little from that time.

Sadly i have no alcohol to clean the cpu with, paper can clean the most, i suspect that is not good to apply a paper with little water?

This is the topic of a new thread.

No water. Do you happen to have any lens wipes, the per-moistened ones for cleaning glasses? Those are good to clean with.

I fixed it. I first inserted the clips to the motherboard wrong so the Noctua was like in the picture. But i changed. It suited my memorys, i inserted the noctua fan so the back text on the fan pointed to the back, i hope i did right.
