Rio5 SX android auto eligibility?

I just recently purchased the 2017 Rio5 SX that comes with the UVO with NAV and all it's whistles.

I saw that some vehicles are eligible for the android auto/apple carplay upgrade, and was curious if my vehicle was able to do it too. I don't see it on the list of vehicles as either eligible or not eligible.

Does anyone know? I can't find an answer anywhere either, that's why I'm asking here.

That is also my assumption, however, with my vehicle being 2017, and vehicles from 2014/15 being on the list, I thought maybe someone might be able to have an answer that is exact, rather than an assumption.

rio is their lowest end model and if you click thru the list. not even some higher end one are supported.

That was the list I was referring to, yes.

That link about the 2018 Rio having UVO3 is exactly why I'm asking about my vehicle. ( I haven't seen that article, but it supports my theory) My vehicle right now has UVO3 with voice and bluetooth and NAV. Which is why I would like to receive a verified answer.
