I'd like to take some of my DVD's and convert them to
files. Can someone recommend a good program that will do
this. Also,is it better to use a program that rips and
converts in one step or is it better to use a two step
process (ripping with one program and then converting with
another).
Thanks
Vince

If your looking for some good freeware tools then www.doom9.org has alot of
info about converting DVDs. Personally I use DVDDecrypter to get the .vobs,
then use FlasKMPEG to convert to either AVI or WMV depending if I want to
edit anything out of it or not. Both are free downloads.

But remember to consult your morals and only do DVDs you own, otherwise its
piracy.
