[SOLVED] Robocopy vs Copy-paste

I heard Leo Laporte (an IT expert) say “avoid using copy-paste if possible, it’s a bad way to copy-paste if you want reliability as it’s inherently buggy, Robocopy is much more reliable”

I’d love to get opinions on this. Is copy-paste on File Explorer that buggy an unreliable vs Robocopy? Why?

For like 99% of use cases, CTRL + C / CTRL + V is fine. And honestly, if someone makes an assertion like that without providing an explanation, I take such assertion with a grain of salt.

Otherwise look at the list of features it can do and see if any of them actually matter to you.
