Now, I've had a few times where my computer hasn't restarted and I just reset the CMOS battery and everything usually boots fine. Well I went on vacation to Virginia and before leaving, I turned off my computer and unplugged it from the wall. I come back 2 days later and it doesn't boot. Reset the CMOS battery to no avail and tested the power supply on another computer with no luck also. I literally rebuilt my computer 5 times and on the 6th time it magically works. I unplugged and tested it on the other computer and it turned on too.
Now flash towards today and my computer shuts off when I'm not around it. I do all the tests I mentioned above and nothings worked. When I plug in my power supply and push the power button on either of the computers I can hear a very low clicking type noise from the power supply. Like its trying to come on. I feel like there is life in there it's just gone rogue on me and I'm not sure what it could be. I told my folks this was the Cadillac of power supplies and
