Question Roku Streambar eARC problem ?

Hello, i just bought a Roku Streambar ( It support Dolby Audio with eARC ). My old TV doesnt have HDMI ARC/eARC. So i want to buy HDMI 4K 60hz eARC Extractor. I watched like 10 videos how to set up that extractor, and every single on of them are using for example Apple TV connected to input source, than one hdmi output connected to the TV, and than other HDMI output connected to the some random soundbar. So my question is, can i just connect my roku streambar to the input on the exctractor and then use only one output to the TV?

nah, thats not how it works

your TV can take just input devices, that means you can send video/audio to your TV, ARC/eARC is audio return channel which can send back audio to that device with just single cable

without ARC/eARC, you will need to use other means to send back audio to that roku soundbar, TVs usualy have optical tosslink, roku manuals also mentions it

earc extractor wont help you if you have just TV and soundbar
