Rookie mistake: metal tab blocking ethernet port

So it looks like I didn't align the motherboard with the I/O shield correctly and that metal tab is partially blocking the ethernet port.

Please tell me that I can just bend that back and that I don't have to re-seat the motherboard.

You should unscrew it and lift the tab up. Or just cut it.

It would be best to reseat the motherboard so it was on top of the port.
However its not vital that its there. You can bend or cut it out of the way if you dont want to move the board.
