Question Router for 100 Gaming PC's

Hi,

Am looking high-end router support for 100 or 150 gaming PC's. It should be support for all kind of FPS games (CSGO,OVerwatch..etc), MMORPG (World of warcarft), Real time strategy games..etc.


We are using our old gaming cafe router is fortigate 100D model running with 75 PC's.But we have lots of issues in the game industry.

Kindly please tell your suggestion for me.

If you want "high-end" then maybe a Cisco. What's your WAN speed and switches and how did you connect them?

pfsense on x86 is hard to beat price wise. 100 PCs on the same lan might have enough broadcast traffic to want to split into a few subnets. I'd recommend separate switches or layer2+ ones.

Internet speed 800 Mbps ( 2 WAN connection, 500+300 Mbps)

Cisco catalyst 2960 series switch

Main up-link going from fortigate (router) to one of switch port and remaining switch connected by looping from the switch one by one.

I was used Cisco 2911 router but not good for gaming industry.
