Router supports over 800 mbps on 5GHz, but ethernet ports are only cat5 speeds (100 mbps)

Just as the title says, my router claims to support over 800 mbps over 5GHz wifi, but the built in ethernet ports only seem to be 100mbps. Both my PC and modem indicate that the link speed is 100 mbps while connected to the router.

I am trying to run a media server, and can only connect my PC to the router over ethernet, and yes, I am using cat5e cables.

Any thoughts on why this might be?

It only supports 100Mb/s ethernet. Probably for cost-down reasons.
