Can you unplug/unscrew that black cable from the antenna without breaking it. Maybe it uses a standard connector.

If not you would have to disassemble the whole router and see if other end of that cable us soldered to the board or is removable. If everything is soldered on you would have to be very skilled to put different antenna on this router.

I cant unplug black cable from antenna. The black antenna's cable is connected to the board.Yes i can plug it and unplug it from the board. It is removable

What does the end of the black cable look like (post picture)? There is the possibility of it being a proprietary connector (could also be a standard connector as bill001g suggested). I lean towards for former because Baudtec doesn't refer to the antenna as detachable in their info.

The most common type of connector is called MMCX but another common one that looks very similar is called u.fl. You can get "pigtail" cables that convert from these to the standard types of connectors used by antenna. Any other type of connector is going to be tough to get.

You are going to have to look very closely those connections are very tiny and there are a couple of not real common ones that look very similar.

Part of the reason they did this is to prevent you from replacing the antenna. Some manufactures did not certify their product with things like the FCC for removable antenna. This mostly I suspect is them not wanting to pay some fee rather than the product not working.

Yes. You would need a converter to connect to the connector on the router that would then connect to the antenna of choice.

The site linked earlier (and I am sure there are many others) has various such adapters.

Just as a thought, have you considered getting a different router?

Thanks you for the help.I dont think that is worth it.
