Routing Options - "Stora A Copy"

I've configured Microsoft XP (Home) fax and it works very
well apart from one thing - I'd like to save a copy of
each fax on a mapped network drive. This drive is always
present but for some reason the copys just dont appear
there! When asked to store a local copy it does just fine.

I'm now forced to use a virtual printer driver to print to
a file that way, which works but is a bit of a messy hack!

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Routing to remote mapped drives is not possible
as the Mapping is only local to the machine and the
network doesn't understand the drive. And if you see the
event reported in the eventvwr it will report as the
folder being not present even though the folder is
present in the machine.
But if you want to route to remote folders you
can very well use UNC paths
(\\<machinename>\<foldername>). Also make sure that Fax
service has Full access rights on the remote folder.
