Where do you get the cable for adding a serial port to this motherboard?

Is it propriatary?

It was in the case of my RS40M2-IL.

It has 9 pins (10 and one blind). But maybe a standard serial port
cable can be used. We had these cables on motherboards in the very old
days.

Mine didnt have one in the box. I tried one standard 9pin cable from the old
days, and it wont detect the modem attached (working USR Courier
V.Everything).

The cable I had was attached to a PCI bracket - has standard 9pins (10th
blocked out).

Do these get interference from the capacitors and such, the cable runs right
by?
They should have placed it on the other side of the motherboard , near the
last PCI slot.
