[SOLVED] rtx 2060 super fan spinning and stopping continuously

I am sorry if this sounds like a dumb question, but I am fairly new PC user, I have Inno3d rtx 2060 super x 8GB OC GPU and the fans on the card keep spinning and stopping continuously. Like every 2-3 seconds. I searched and came to know the fans are supposed to run only after reaching X° C (55-60). But fans on my cards are running and stopping. This is under idle/no load condition. The temps are 57-58 only. Is this normal?

Yes that is normal like the above person said. My Gigabyte 2070S does this too. I however do not keep the fans always running because I live in a dusty area. I've left it the way it came from the factory
Thanks for the reply, I was worried for a while that I might have to send it back. While I also live in a pretty dusty area, I have just let it like it came.

From what I recall, that is correct and normal operation. If you want the fans to run at lower temps (I recommend it) you can get a program such as MSI Afterburner and set up a fan curve for the card. For example, you can set the fan to be at 30% until 45C then ramp it up to 100 at 70C (just an example)

The fan curve page looks like this
