[SOLVED] rtx 3070 to powerfull for i5 9600kf? bottlneck.

Hello my question is about bottleneck.
My pc is-
i5 9600kf OC 5ghz with nzxt kraken x52.
1.92 tb nvme corsair force mp510
Msi z390 a pro
Kingston 3000mhz 16 gb hyperx ddr4.
Superflower leadex 3 gold 750w.
My gpu is gtx 1070ti.
I am planning on buying rtx 3070, (i know about the new amd gpus , but my monitor doesnt have freesync).
My question is if my processor i gonna keep up with the gpu , and if my motherboard i enough for its bandwidth.

What monitor do you have?

9600k being a non SMT 6 core processor can show fairly high usages trying to supply a fast graphics card high amount of fps in some demanding games and may stutter as a result of being maxed out. Higher the resolution/increased graphical details can help reduce frame rate and demand on cpu overall.

If playing in say 4k, will have a better chance avoiding stutters compared to playing in 1080p at 144Hz.

Much depends on the kinds of games you play.
Usually, games depend on a fast master thread, and your 9600KF@5.0 is as good as it gets.
I suspect you will do very well.

To get a better idea, try this simple test:
Run YOUR games, but lower your resolution and eye candy.
This makes the graphics card loaf a bit.
If your FPS increases, it indicates that your cpu is strong enough to drive a better graphics configuration.
If your FPS stays the same, you are likely more cpu limited.

That's darn near impossible to say, because it depends on YOU:
-the games you play
-the games you will play, which requires a crystal ball
As boju said, the 9600K has a limited thread count, and this will be problematic in more recent titles and future releases; 5.0ghz clock won't do much if a specific game can utilize 8 or more threads.
