Which graphics card would be better and what is the difference between them: 8GB MSI RTX 4060 Ti Ventus 3X OC and 8GB MSI RTX 4060 Ti GAMING X TRIO

If I recall the Ventus is a triple fan version of their entry level gaming cards. Gaming X Trio is a little nicer.

Performance wise they will be nearly identical. More will depend on the exact GPU you end up with.

Yes, Ventus is their entry level, GamingX is their high end. Both will have the same 4060Ti chip and VRAM. So you're mostly looking at the differences in coolers.

GamingX Trio Cooler:

Ventus 3X Cooler: (This is the 4070, but the 4060Ti is likely identical)

The GamingX is 2.5 slots thick, the Ventus 3X is 2 slots. Note the increased heatpipe count and an additional contact patch for VRM cooling compared to the Ventus 3X. I'm also noticing the VRAM cooling pads are quite thick on the Ventus 3X, which would cause increase in VRAM temp.

You're looking at temps/noise differences between the two. How much that's worth to YOU? That's for you to decide.

4060Ti in a pinch for power and space constraints. Otherwise anything similarly priced from AMD does have more gaming performance outside of ray-tracing.

If it were $50 cheaper, it would be a lot more competitive.
