Hi,
I can buy MSi Ventus 2x RTX 4070 12GB for a great price 400€.
Then I have another great deal for Gigabyte Gaming RTX 4070 Ti Super 16GB for 745€.
Im gaming in 4K 60Hz.
My question is how today game stands in 4K resolution with 12GB VRAM?
If I can stay 3 years with 12GB on 4K its alright for me.
Or its a waste of money for 4K and for smooth experience its necessary to have at least 16GB VRAM?

TechSpot states that the RTX 4070ti is 21% faster than the RTX 4070 Super at 4k.

(20% slower at 1440p and 18% slower at 1080p).

Take a look around, the 4070ti is normally quite a jump but the performance increase is arguably justified.
Alternatively, if budget is an issue take a look at some RTX 3090s that might be available privately - it pushes similar performance to the RTX 4070ti but has excessively more VRAM. You do however lose the frame generation feature as a result.

The 4070 vanilla. Is it second hand? I'm guessing so.

Look, everyone is pretty much telling you to go the 4070 TI Super, as it's a stronger card for 4k. However, depending on the game, you won't be playing super fast FPS, or all the graphical details at high or Ultra. The 4070 TI Super with the extra vram (16gb v 12gb) Will last longer. But for really decent performance at 4k it's the 4080 Super as min, or go home :)

What system will you be paring the GPU with? Will possibly need a new PSU too!
