not suprising rdna 2 had some issues with older games i believe gta sa used dx 9 which is a common issue with rdna 2 cards.

this was a deal breaker for me so i went back to nvidia myself. never had issues running any older games with nvidia cards.

i would personally go with 4070 ti super which is a good middle ground without breaking the bank on a 4080.

the better advantage of the 4070 ti super is you still get the 16gb of memory while not losing to much performance vs the 4080

ok so its not just me having issues with older games i actually didnt think it would be that bad coming from a nvidia for 7 years

ok super a rtx 4070ti super would be a good pick then do u think its worth the extra cash then if im not upgrading my montior within a year i have a acer 1080p 180hz screen i really like but with gta sa i use mods as well just simple mods as well and ps2 graphics but i have turn with them off i get the same issue with rx 6800 also i have intel arc 750 8gb as well u think i should just sell it and just run all my stuff through one card

welcome to amd drivers lol there still as bad as ever in my opinion which is ashame they make good cards the driver support sucks though.

yes i think its still a good buy im using a 4070 super myself and it handles 1440p quite well so a 4070 ti super should have no problem being quite future proof even if you moved to 1440p. i dont see any benefit of going as far as 4080.

ok makes sense yeah i will pull the trigger on rtx 407ti super then thanks mate

no problem just be careful of bending the cable. on these cards.
if your new psu doesnt have a 16 pin corsair should sell one specifically for it or cable mod. which i recomend over the adapter.

advise should be similar across the board even if your psu is corsair with adapters or cables

advise on bends of these cables.

glad to be of help.

actually just quick question is it safe to use apdter out of gpu box when i buy it ? i also have a 1200w psu coming int mail
SST-ST1200-PTS

id strongly recommend against the adapter in the box by NVidia I find them unreliable.
that being said i find more failure rates happen when people bend them which have appeared on this forum not long ago.

i am currently using my psu manufacturers official cable had zero issues been running months. so its worth the cable from the manufacturer

SST-ST1200-PTS

recomended cable is this
