Hi. My setup is 13600k, MSI z790 Tomahawk DDR 4, 128 Gb ram @2933, RTX 4090. When I play on my 144 hz 2560*1080 monitor, everything is butter smooth. But when I play on my 4k LG CX monitor, I get huge hiccups and freezes in ETS 2 and Satisfactory. Nvidia monitor shows 99% 6-8 FPS every 1-8 seconds in ETS2 and 1562345+ ms latency in Satisfactory every 4-8 seconds. And thoze freezes are really bad. I know my card can run these games in 4k, so resolution is not the case here.
What I have already tried - updating my graphics driver, updating BIOS and CPU microcode, restoring Nvidia control panel settings, turning V-sync on and off, playing with graphics settings.
My TV is connected via certified 2.1 HDMI cable and it had no issues for years. I have been noticing those strange hiccups starting October, maybe. I have all TV HDMI settings on, including VRR. When pressing green button on remote 5-6 times, it shows VRR information as 118.xx Hz (max FPS in control panel set to 119 FPS for active and 30 Fps for background), Gsync on, 3840*2160@120, RGB 10b 4L10 HDR10. When freezes happen in ETS 2, it drops to 40 Hz for a fraction of a second.
I am running Windows 11 23H2 version 22631.4317. Three latest updates are KB5043076, KB5044033, KB5044285.
The only difference between my monitor and TV are resolution, Refresh rate, connection type, G-sync, HDR. Why one is running perfectly fie, and the other has hiccups. Please help. My games or control panel settings are not supersampled.
