Who is they? When leakers leak performance estimates, it's never DLSS performance.
I mean in NVIDIA marketing, like those up to x% faster in Ada vs 3000 series. I says so since leakers might not get on hand the real thing, so keep a grain of salt before anything comes out in reality.

Partly it’s also due to lack of confidence of Jensen will go anywhere near consumer friendly… that less is more bs in last gen…

DLSS or not 4090 still significantly faster than 3090Ti. Not even AMD can come up with such such performance uplift.

I didn't doubt that AMD isn't able to keep up part, what I meant was just that I will keep a bit skeptical for gen on gen real world performance uplift on that magnitude to be sustainable, especially with the huge CUDA core nerf.

But of course I will welcome any surprise on that front, hopefully a bit on the C/P ratio also, hate the scalping price since COVID TBH

Nobody is talking about Nvidia's performance claims. We're talking about leaks, which are always actual performance uplift, not upscaling performance. Nvidia's topend A6000 is built using the same GPU as the x90. The professional market doesn't use DLSS and aren't going to be happy dropping $8000 a card for minimal performance uplift from the previous generation. The 5090 will deliver. It's the other tiers that people should be rightly skeptical about.

Jensen is a rich dude now. I hope you're not letting him live rent free in your head all the time, and you are charging him at least market value for rent.

It's exactly the leaks I am skeptical of.. it is quite often hit or miss, and the source of the leaks arn't guaranteed to be their actual testing result, sometimes it's just leaks of the marketing materials, so who knows, it will reveal at CES and likely the same day we can see various reviews to see if it's true performance uplift, will be pleasantly surprised if it truely deliver that performance and not priced as the 4090. As it's very likely if not obviously AMD and Intel won't be competitive at the 4090 tier performance the coming gen.

No I won't let him live in my head, just skeptical and decide will it be another skipped generation.
