I love eGPU, issue besides cost on this one is not enough memory, 4gb is too gimped. Plenty of other cores and great form factor (although a video out or 2 would be nice). Hope this is the beginning of more devices like this.

Per the setup video looks like it is limited to 25W.

I think USB4 would make higher power "portable" video cards more viable, since the interface can supply up to 240W. But the interface would probably be relegated to premium laptops, and you'd also need a large power brick for the laptop if you don't want to add yet another cable or brick for powering the device.

Still a neat idea to think about though.

I would love to have this A500 if it were in the $200-$250 price range. In typical nVidia fashion, $429 is too much for what it is.
