Sorry just a tad late, I am wondering the same! Kinda. I am a noob with this stuff. Anyways I bought a pre-built Acer Predator G6-710 Desktop an older one with a GTX970 4GB and a i7-6700K with 16GB of RAM. I actually just bought an RTX2060 TODAY a few hours ago since friends have told me it should 99% work. I am wondering if you can clarify as well! This is whatI have from CPU-Z application.

THIS WAS A REPLY TO A THREAD BUT I ALSO NEED HELP FROM OTHERS. @PuperHacker

I bought a ZOTAC Twin Fan 6GB RTX2060 - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07MBKKQPW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00__o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

This is all I could find, I couldn't find weather it is ASUS Z170 or what since it says Intel and I am a complete noob at this. And to clarify about the Prebuild, YES! It should be able to be upgraded from what I found but you may want to make sure as well to help me out a bit more. lol.

No problem. I would also recommend a clean driver install. I was recommended to use DDU, and it was an easy process. Not necessarily required, but a clean driver install is.
Alright. And what would this do? Lolll I’ll research which I do good at lmao but I’m just here to get the good gameplay and spend money hahaha

Ok so your all set, your going to use the 8-pin connection for the RTX 2060 and the other 6-pin connection you won't need.
Okay... sorry... I cannot tell with this but what pins does this have? I have looked around IN A RUSH to search some things but Cannot tell. would this PSU work with my RTX https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ALK3KEM/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1

EDIT: on that page it has a spot for Semi Modular or Non Modeler, which should I get? lol.
