Why do people keep buying subsidized crappy phones and then complain about bloatware that the carrier (not the OS developer) puts there, is beyond my comprehension. Maybe if you had gotten a Nexus device you would have been spared of any bloatware. Or maybe, waiting for the next Nexus, you could have grown a pair and uninstall that bloatware and put a vanilla OS on that phone, while you're at it. Guides galore online.

Or maybe some people prefer buying something that just works as expected out of the box without having to waste time tinkering with it.

Pretty much you could not even differentiate between a hardware company (or more than one, for that matter) and a software developer, like Google, for instance.
No wonder you Apple kids can not tell the difference: you are so used with one single big Daddy to cut up your vegetables, you can't even tell when he's using a different knife, so to speak. He cuts them, chews them up for ya, and then spits them in your mouths, and all you can say is "gimme more, daddy".
Once in a while Apple adds a new feature it steals from Android OS (like the notification bar last time, this time maybe they'll add widgets, next time real multitasking and so on), and y'all are in awe like you just seen the second coming of the Messiah. LOL, Apple is selling the iPhone 4S for $49 on Sprint. LOL, Apples only phone on the market is selling cheaper than 90% Android phones. The quality of the iPhone is cheap. 1 foot drop and it can shatter both sides of the phone. LOL. Soon Apple will become the next Dell or Rim.
