Hello all,

I was wondering if my CPU would bottleneck a rx 460 4gb, here's the CPU in question:

AMD phenom II x6 1035T.

Is this CPU good enough to handle the rx 460 4gb without issues?

Solution
Keep it, the bottleneck won't be too big. However for modern gaming, the CPU may hold you back, never mind the GPU.
But you won't find anything good on that socket, so you'll need a mobo + CPU and possibly + RAM pair which will cost you a bit.
Stay on this setup for now, you'll be able to run most games on Medium.

Thanks for this response,

Would the bottleneck have a big impact? Would you think its worth it to buy another CPU or just keep this one?

Yes there are. Sorry, i had just a review of your processor. You are going to have some bottlenecks with cpu intensive games. For them, you will severely by mitigated by this cpu whereas the rx 460 could be able to handle it. It depends on what games you are aiming to

Alright thanks for clarifying!

I will buy some new components later, thanks for helping me out :)

Yeah it looks like it would be benificial to upgrade my CPU aswell.
Gonna check if the games i want to play have good enough performance with my current setup first :)

Thanks for helping me out. :)

Currently im running AMD Phenom II x4 965 BE with a Radeon RX 460, its going good so far. Apparently im only getting bottlenecks with Battlefield 1, however im getting 60fps average.
On the other hand i play killer instinct, street fighter 5, and some others but the CPU never reachs 100% of load.
