Hello guys, im using a vga monitor and im happy with it so please dont flame my thread.. anyways im planning to get the rx 480 but as far ive seen on newegg none of the cards have vga port only hdmi and displayports which of course i dont have due to my monitor, is there a way to make it work with an adapter or maybe i should wait up for third parties make their own version and hopefully they gonna add vga which i dont think its gonna happen anyways, ive seen Evga with the 900 gtx series that they add their own adapter from dvi to vga or something like that so thats why im wondering.

thanks for any given suggestion.

You may be happy with your VGA connected monitor, but you really should let it die. VGA is an analog interface. The display has to have digital data on the graphics card converted to analog to transmit to the monitor. Then the monitor has to convert back to digital to display it. That loses quality. And as you are finding out, support for VGA is dwindling. You could get a display port to VGA converter. They cost around $20. Something like this -- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16882203129

BUT if you are going to spend money for a graphics card, why are you limiting it with an outdated monitor.

you guys are right im not saying otherwise, but for the time being at leats i wanna invest in the card first then on the monitor since i have other expenses to make, this is just a time being solution not permanent thats why i was asking about it and as long as it works and sure i may not recieve the best quality the card could offer but just for the time being as i said.
