Hello,

I have a Asus Strix RX580 and I wanted to try to undervolt it a bit. Then I noticed that my default state 4 has a 1193 volts and higher states have 1150?

Why is that?

State 4 most commonly is the state that the gpu is running at while gaming and under load in general. Thats why there might be some extra voltage applied.

Im monitoring the voltage during benchmarking and its usually 1150 from state 7 but ok.
When I undervoltage only state 7 to 1.075 it never goes above from previous states with higher voltage.

Oh my bad, my vega 56 usually never hit the values from p7, the voltage nor the core clock.
Actually there was a typo on my text, they usually dont go higher than p6 was what i meant.

Try undervolting at first by implying -50mV to the last 3 states.
I had something like : P5 -50mV P6 -75mV and P7 -100mV but then again the vega 56 was massively overvolted from the box.

I got it stable at 1075 from 1150 stock at 1411 mhz.
