I have two options for my new GPU.

RX 580 4 GB PULSE (100 $ )
or
RX 580 8 GB AUROS (145 $ )

My question is is it worth going for 8gb (im not that good on a budget)
What can it improve?
Is 8GB important in Gaming?

Hi @Luka231223

Entirely depends on the rest of your systems specs. Please list them out.

Do you game at 1080 or 1440? The higher the graphical settings and resolution you game at, the more VRAM comes into play. (To a point and determining on the card, game or program running) The difference between 4 & 8GB for the 580 is approx 1-10 FPS. Some games a little more and some a little less.

If the rest of your system is lower end and unable to feed the card, your performance will suffer. The same if you have a god-like PC and try to run games at 8K, the 580 will..ah.. limit you. :) Some games benefit from a better CPU and some from a better GPU. What games do you typically play the most?

So my current specs are
Monitor PHILIPS 1920 x 1080
i3-4160 3.60 GHZ > Ryzen 7 2700
8GB RAM DDR 3 > DDR 4 8 GB
H81M-C MDB > ASRock B450M-HDV
GT 710
500 W PSU

Im also upgrading my MDB and processor as well as DDR4 Ram but im not that good on a budget so that will come later on.
I usually play GTA V, Ark : Survival evolved, League of legends... To be honest I was really just upgrading pc because of ark which i play in nearly 40 fps on low

Thanks for listing out the specs.

With your current system, I'd go with the 4GB version of the 580 and put the extra that the 8GB cost into your piggy bank and save towards a new system. The 580 will be a massive jump over your current GT 710 and can be used in whatever new system you end up buying &/or building.

What type of 500w PSU?
