Question RX 580 suddenly stopped working.

My PC was on desktop and suddenly switched off. Upon restarting I was getting no display from my Sapphire RX 580 8GB so I switched to the integrated graphics and they worked fine.

I then took the following steps:
• Removed and reseated the graphics card.
• Tried both display port and HDMI.
• Installed a brand new Corsair RM750X PSU, previously I was using a EVGA 450 BR PSU.
• Used a PCI network card in the PCI slot the graphics card was in and it worked fine (the network card).
• Inspected the graphics card for any obvious signs of damage. I couldn't see anything but I am no expert.

All of the above has resulted in no signs of life from the 580 i.e. fans won't spin at all / not recognised by PC.

The graphics card was only 2 weeks old - purchased brand new - how could it have died like this... was the PSU the only likely culprit or something else.

Specs:
AMD Ryzen 3400G
ASUS TUF b450-m plus motherboard
2x8GB Corsair RGB Pro 3200MHz

Thanks.
