Well, thats also a AAA game, you won't hit full 144FPS in large intensive games like those. You would see 144fps in more eSports titles.I'm seeing it's a great card for 1080p at 60 fps.....but as far as hitting 144 Hz.....I'm seeing.....
"In Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey, the Sapphire 5600 XT averages about 78 frames per second at 1080p on very high settings. In F1 2019, at 1080p on ultra-high, it was closer to 100 fps. "
Thanks for the good reply!Ultra settings are wasteful and unrealistic. You're wasting your money if you pursue xxx FPS at ultra settings.
I see no reason to buy a RX5700/5700XT for 1080p gaming. Not to mention the fact that the 160W TDP vBIOS update combined with the fact that the 5600XT is the same underlying chip as the 5700/XT, you can probably OC it the last 10% up to a 5700.
The RX5600XT is very well suited for high framerates at 1080p. It's ~50-60% faster than an RX580, so simply multiply your current FPS by 1.55 to determine what you'll be getting out of the upgrade.
The biggest reservation I have about the 5600XT/5700/5700XT is lack of ray tracing. AMD has already confirmed that the new XBOX & PlayStation will have ray tracing, so this feature seems to be here to stay. Based on your brief ownership of an RX580, this may not be an issue for you since you seem to be the type that upgrades every couple years, but outside of that window, it may become a pain point.
The rx 580 is not bad at all but i am building a pc for my brother so he is going to buy it from me.^Zizo.
OP - Why are you feeling like your RX580 is insufficient? Perhaps wait one more generation? Sure, the 5600XT is 50-60% faster, but it's also the same % more expensive.
Then get the 5600XT and update to the latest bios for free performance. The rx 580 is not bad at all but i am building a pc for my brother so he is going to buy it from me.
So i dont see a reason to buy a new rx 580 for myself
