I'm using dual monitor setup. But on the first boot, all shown is black screen and no error indicator on the motherboard. So I try to plug one monitor into motherboard display output since 9800X3D has iGpu. I'm able to boot, and since I'm not changing storage, I can enter Win 11 but only with mobo display.
Previous setup:
- MSI B5450 gaming plus
- Ryzen 5 2600
- Sapphire RX 7800 XT Pure
- Corsair Vengeance DDR4 32Gb 3000Mhz
- (Previous GPU) MSI RX 580 8Gb (not used)
- NZXT 1000 watt gold
Upgrade setup:
- MSI B850 Edge TI WIFI
- Ryzen 7 9800X3D
- Sapphire RX 7800 XT Pure
- Predator Vesta DDR5 32Gb 6000Mhz
- NZXT 1000 watt gold
What I've done so far:
- On Device Manager, when I try to show hidden device, the RX 7800 is listed as "not connected", so I uninstall the driver and reboot. Nothing happened.
- All drivers from MSI utility center has been installed, and I've also installed AMD Software: Adrenaline Edition (WQHL), then reboot. Nothing happened.
- When I try to update bios, its up-to-date.
- I re-assemble my old setup PC setup to test the RX 7800 on B450. It works fine. Which indicates the RX 7800 works fine.
- I put the RX 580 into B850. It works fine. Which indicates the PCIE slot on B850 works fine.
- Use DDU to clean drivers.
- Currently, the PCIE input for RX is using 2 separate PCIE cable. Should I only use one then daisy chain?
I'm running out of ideas how to fix this. Any suggestion?
