Hi all,

I recently build my new PC and was testing with some AMD Adrenalin settings. In a video of Jayz it was explained that the auto OC/rage mode in the amd software is okay to enable if you are not willing to manually OC or tweak settings. While testing the auto OC feature I noticed the fans are really loud, I recorded it: https://imgur.com/a/861iKS5 Is this amount of sound normal for fans at about max RPM?

Any suggestions for custom settings: fan curve, undervolt etc are welcome. Currently my GPU is about 71-74c with junction at 84c while playing Red Dead 2 on high settings on a 2k monitor (default AMD settings).

Thanks in advance.

Video card fans are notoriously loud in their last 25-30% of RPM range typically. I'm not particularly familiar with the workings of AMD software, but do know you can set fan curves with MSI Afterburner.

What is your fan configuration in your case? I just changed all of the front fans in mine to Arctic P12 MAX to replace my P12s as they move a lot more air at equal noise levels. Stronger intake fans might help the GPU temps a bit when you lower their fan curve.
