Question RX570 Clock Speeds lower than expected

Hi all!

My girlfriend has a Gigabyte RX570 Gaming (rev 1.0). However, after fitting a new PSU in her system today, I noticed that the GPU was running at sub 1GHz clock speed on the gaming profile with the 3D Mark score being lower than expected, and even lower when using the OC profile.

The power draw will not go above 90W in its stock configuration and only when using Radeon settings to allow the GPU 50% more power, did the GPU get even close to the clock speed it was supposed to be at.

As far as I can see, there are no thermal issues and I have tried both DDU and reflashing with the correct BIOS - neither seemed to make any difference.

The system specs are as follows:

• Intel Core i7-4790
• 16GB DDR3 1600MHz
• Gigabyte RX570 Gaming (rev 1.0)
• Asus Z97 Pro Gamer
• Corsair TX650M

Is the external pcie x8 connected on the card? If so, make sure it's also firmly connected back to the psu module. It looks like that the card is powered only by the pcie x16 of the motherboard

The connector is in correctly. I've seen the card draw 120W when I up the max power in Radeon Settings.
