Ryzen 1800x with a X370 MOBO?

Is it worth to buy a Ryzen 1800x and still overclock it with an X370 MOBO?`

I am thinking to buy a 1800X but then I don't have a lot of overclocking to do.
So should I get a B350 MOBO instead?

I was planning on building a good and affordable editing pc.
But now Intel has there new cpu's so you got that too.
To answer your question. One Vega of 1080 GPU would be enough I think.

But now Intel has there new cpu's so you got that too.
To answer your question. One Vega of 1080 GPU would be enough I think.

Then a b350 would probably work better if you don't plan on overclocking or sli/crossfire, if you want to overclock i would get an x370 but overclocking an 1800x is kind of useless...

Because Ryzen likes RAM a lot.

That's dependent on the board, generally X370 are better at overclocking for things like your gpu/cpu, but even then it would matter on the motherboard, for example the ga-78lmt-s2 cant overclock (am3+ board) and the ga-78lmt-usb3 (also an am3+ board) can Overclocking about 300-600 mhz, so what b350 boards were you looking at>
