Question Ryzen 3 2200g highest ram clock speed supported?

I was thinking of buying another stick of 2400mhz RAM so I can have dual channel setup, but I'm also considering to upgrade to a single 3200mhz. But I do not know which would be faster. I also heard that ryzen 3 2200g does not support 3200mhz. What are your thoughts?

Current setup is:
Ryzen 3 2200g
hyperx 8gb 2400mhz
GA a320m-s2h

Go with dual channel.
Go with 2x8GB@3200.

Although 3200 memory is compatible with the motherboard it's not gonna be easy getting it to run 3200 with that cpu! It's max mem speed is rated at 2933mhz. Maybe some 3000 would work out the box but from the problems I've had in the past I would go for some 2800.

If you use the internal graphics and do some casual gaming I would suggest what Bob. B posted. You can always downclock the 3200Mhz to what your cpu can support. Even if its only 2933Mhz. When/if you get a faster cpu that supports the faster ram speeds you'll have it already.
