Ryzen 3 future

I want to buy ryzen 3 1300, but it has only 4T / 4C. Is it ok for the next 2-3 years? For gaming

2-3 years, probably fine. By 2.5 years it might slow down a little bit depending on how quickly games adopt the better multi-core performance proposition. Also, don't bother with the 1300X, buy the 1200, it's fine. If possible, though, try to get a Ryzen 5 1400, it'll serve you better for 2-3 years. Right now there won't be a difference in games, but 3 years later you might start seeing the Ryzen 3 1200/1300X struggle a little.
