Ryzen 3 no post

Hi guys!

I'am currently building a new PC for myself, but the little boy just wont post. I connected the 24 pin to the motherboard, installed, the double stick 4fb ddr4 memory, installed my ryzen 3 1200, 1050 TI, then I start the thing, everything is lighting up, turning, no smoke...but no image on monitor as well.

Any suggestions? Im strarting to freak out.

What about the 8 pin cpu power connector?

The supply has a 4 pin, a 6+2 pin and is 400 watts. I pluged the 4 pin in, same results, they said it should work fine. (I'm kinda new to PC building).

1. Please post all specs, especially MB, do not do 4 pin only if 8 pin is also available ! Could damage your MB.
2. Try pulling out 1050 ti and try onboard gpu to boot first

I have pluged in only the 4 pin, cause there is no 8 pin, and the 6+2 pin isn't "shape compatible".

Ryzen 3 1200,
GTX 1050 TI
2*4gb DDR4 (the 2133MHZ)
Gigabyte K320M-Ds2
Chieftec 400Watt psu
I tried every method expect the full 8 pin connected in (because i can't.....)

Your MB may be incompatible, can you double check the MB model?

Please double check that motherboard model as the model you posted doesn't exist. Also the majority of cheiftecs psus are garbage.

Yeah A320m-ds2, not K320M.....

1. Make sure your gpu is plugged in fully
2. Check hdmi/vga/dvi cable connection is secured
3. check the cable
4. check the monitor
5. try boot with only 1 ram in the slot, change slot/ram next time
6. reset cmos battery

But I think I'm going out buying a Removed PSU that has a decent 8 pin for the CPU and shove this one down the throat of the shoopkeeper.

How much watts do I need guys?

Judging by the manual you are going to need a psu with an 8-pin eps/cpu power connector. The manual makes no mention of working with only a 4-pin. 8 pin eps connectors are standard on the majority of decent quality psus.

Thank you guys both for the solution. It saturday night here, so I will go whatever I can pick up at my local bestbyte. And hove I wont leave my salary there for a PSU. Really thx for ur time and help again. I will give u feedbeck about the process.

A good quality 400w or larger unit will be fine.

At my local best buy the only decent units they sell are the new Corsair CXm series and a CX450m would be plenty gor your specs. Avoid the Dynex, rocketfish and thermaltake tr2s they sell.

They dont have any 8pin cpu psu under 650watts, also the guy said again, that -it should work with 4pin

Usually if a 4-pin will work the manual will.show which side of the 8-pin plug to use the 4-pin in. The manual for your board states no such thing. Which leads me to believe it requires all 8 pins.

If he is so sure take the system there and plug in a psu with an 8-pin connector and see if the system works.

Also at first I tried to post without the gpu. Is it possible, that the mobo stuck in a loop? Should I reset it somehow?

It wasn't going to post without a gpu. It's highly unlikly thats the problem but it will cost nothing but time the reset the bios with the clr cmos jumper. Instructions on doing so are on page 17 of the manual.

I works! Reseted the bios pluged the for pin in, got the post. Best community ever, really thank you for all the help
