Before getting into it, my parts are:
Ryzen 5 3400G
2x16GB 3200Mhz HyperX Fury
Gigabyte B450-M
Gigabyte P550 80+ Bronze
My PC has been up and running for the past 9 days, up until now. I have come accross three different issues so far.
First, the system would restart by itself after a few hours or so of staying on (regardless if it has been idle or not), and it would reboot and be back running all fine.
Second, while gaming, the monitor I game on froze while everything else was all good. My second display worked fine, as well as all the functions of my PC. I fixed the issue by reconnecting the main display, yet I still do not know what had caused it. My main display is connected by HDMI to the motherboard, while my second display is connected by a DVI to HDMI adapter into the motherboard.
Lastly, just now while gaming, both my monitors lost display signal. Along with no audio signal, and no connection on my peripherals; basically nothing works all of a sudden but the system is still on with all the fans and lights. I tried rebooting the system but it would not send any display signal, and my peripherals won't light up. The issue still remains, the PC won't post, but all the fans and lights on the PC work.
I tried reseating the ram sticks (which hasn't worked so far), it is also hard to figure out if the RAM may be the issue since the motherboard has no debug leds. While reseating ram sticks, I noticed that the 8 pin power cable was not fully seated into the motherboard. I remember experiencing a bit of a struggle trying to connect it during the initial build since it was hard to reach with it being in between my fans and my big air cooler, and I am wondering if that could have been the cause of the problem.
After pushing the 8 pin cable into the motherboard and hearing a click, I tried to turn the PC on once more. I notice that compared to previous attempts on turning it on, all the fans are now spinning at noticeably high speeds. I still get no post.
Any insights and possible fixes to this case are appreciated, thank you for reading.
