[SOLVED] Ryzen 5 3600XT reaching 80-90c

Just upgraded my pc to a Ryzen 5 3600XT, bought a cooler (CoolerMaster T20) and my CPU still getting around 90 while gaming and 60-70 on idle, where i live is pretty hot (Brazil), but it should be that high ?

what are ambient temps there? I doubt you up near 50C. You should be closer to 44-55 idle.

I don't think that cooler is adequate for that CPU even though its showing on here - https://landing.coolermaster.com/pages/all-coolers-ready-for-thrid-generation-amd-ryzen3000-cpus/en/ if you look, CPU tdp is 95w and they list that cooler as 65w

You need something like a Master Air or hyper 212 led turbo on that page.

Thanks for the tip, i'll try to invest on a water cooler a soon as possible, any suggestion of those listed ones ?

well, I am using a Corsair AIO myself so no, don't have an opinion on theirs. Not an expert on water cooling, this is my first go.
H100i RGB Platinum 240mm aio keeps my 3600XT fairly cool although i don't think I get as warm as brazil, or at least maybe not as humid. I am in Australia. It hasn't been hot yet this summer.

not all of those are liquid, i don't think noctua have liquid coolers, but many are. need to look at videos of who makes best 240mm aio.
